A spicy-fresh and very clear white wine, with intense fruit, stone fruit and core fruit aromas, a fine acidity and animating finish. Winery The name Schumann-Nägler combines a long winemaking tradition. The family history goes back to 1356. As early as 1438, the family, then under Niclas Schumann in Hattenheim, began to grow wine. For more than 550 years now, the estate has been run by the family, with experiences passed on to the present 25th generation. The winery Schumann-Nägler is one of the oldest wineries in family ownership. Region The Rheingau, located at the 50th latitude, is considered one of the best growing areas in Germany. Since the Rhine flows here from east to west, most vineyards are oriented southwards and have an optimal exposure to the sun, which produces exceptional qualities. The Rheingau is particularly well known for its Rieslings and Spätburgunder red wines.
