Dried Fruit Compote

Dried Fruit Compote
  1. Place fruit mixture in a bowl and add alcohol.  
  2. Cover and refrigerate overnight. 
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.  
  4. Pour in the fruit and alcohol and cook until the liquid is evaporated. 
  5. Stir occasionally to prevent burning. 
  6. Place the cooked fruit into a bowl and stir in the Almond or Hazelnut oil.  
  7. Keep refrigerated until served. Serve over ice cream, apple pie, pancakes, or anywhere that fruit flavor is needed.

  • 1 cup dried figs
  • 1 cup dried apricots
  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • 1 cup dried raisins
  • 1/2 cup grappa or white rum
  • 3 T. VOM FASS FassZination Almond Oil or FassZination Hazelnut Oil
