Dried Fruit Compote
Place fruit mixture in a bowl and add alcohol.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
Pour in the fruit and alcohol and cook until the liquid is evaporated.
Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
Place the cooked fruit into a bowl and stir in the Almond or Hazelnut oil.
Keep refrigerated until served. Serve over ice cream, apple pie, pancakes, or anywhere that fruit flavor is needed.
- 1 cup dried dates
- 1 cup dried figs
- 1 cup dried apricots
- 1 cup dried cherries
- 1 cup dried raisins
- 1/2 cup grappa or white rum
- 3 T. VOM FASS FassZination Almond Oil or FassZination Hazelnut Oil
